Asava Juice and Smoothies
Pamela Peterson purchased Asava, Kanab’s premiere juice and smoothie bar, in July. Peterson is proud to only serve products that are locally sourced or organic and gluten and dairy free. The best part? Asava’s menu changes seasonally, so customers are bound to find a new favorite anytime of the year.
Asava isn’t strictly limited to juices and smoothies either. They also offer ever popular acai bowls, smoothie bowls, Icees, immunity boosters, and cleanse programs that range from one to five days.
Peterson is a serial female entrepreneur, owning several small businesses over her lifetime. She sought out guidance from the Business Resource Center based on a referral from a friend. Peterson said: “The Business Resource Center is just that. It has many business resources! We have benefited from the creative minds and experience of Outreach Manager Colette Cox and graphic design intern Hunter Allsop, and look forward to working with staff from the Makerspace to produce marketing materials.”
Peterson has big plans for the future, explaining her eventual franchising goal of Asava having several locations around the United States “with the same feel and environment we have at our home Asava location in Kanab. We love serving our customers and providing a great product and place for them to come and feel welcome.”
